Meet the Founder.
Julio’s fascination with construction began early, running errands to the truck for tools during Saturday visits to job sites with his father back in 2009. This curiosity led him to land his first major drafting role while still in school in 2018, where he served as a structural engineering drafting assistant.
His experience in this role equipped him with the knowledge and skills needed for a significant venture in 2019 with one of the most reputable Chinese-owned ADU companies in San Gabriel Valley. Starting as a rookie drafter, Julio quickly rose through the ranks to become the company’s Vice President. In this role, he oversaw all operations related to architecture, construction, client relations, and marketing.
In early 2024, Julio took the leap to start his independent practice, founding JJ Design and Build.
